- Take Interstate 25 south to Exit 124 (23 miles from Socorro).
- Head east for about a mile, then turn south on State Highway 1, and follow it for about 6.3 miles.
- Turn left and go about 5 miles to a Bureau of Land Management parking area marked by a flagpole.
