While many of our trails start at either the Socorro Plaza or the Escondida Bridge, not all do. The area covered by our trails is simply too big.
That's the point behind this section of the guide: getting you to the trailhead. After all, the best trail descriptions in the world won't do you any good without knowing how to get there.
Each place includes a short description, and directions on how to get there from Socorro. Many also include maps, and photographs so you know what to look for.
The following abbreviations are used when naming roads and trails:
